The handmade workshop series is a medium for us to ‘learn by doing’, by experimenting with newer materials and techniques for building. The workshop aims to create valuable interventions with rural and urban communities. Having identified the professional neglect in rural and informal projects, handmade is one of the ways we aim to fill in the gaps with well-designed solutions.

Through the workshop we try to engage with the people of the community to create a sense of belonging within them towards the place. Involvement of different kinds of people including: locals, government bodies, craftsmen and participants from architecture and its allied fields, is an essential part of the workshop, inorder to activate spaces and create a long lasting impact on communities requiring intervention.
